Custom Saddlery has been on the market since 1997, making some of the best saddles for over twenty years, with a focus on Dressage. Designing and developing the latest materials and techniques, we combine craftsmanship into the most advanced saddles available.

Custom Saddlery has more than eighty saddle fitters throughout Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.
Custom Saddlery’s main facility is located in Aiken, South Carolina, USA with service and support in Holland and the United Kingdom. The UK facility serves as an important design and manufacturing hub for the entire company, which underwent a major expansion into a new 14,000sq ft factory located in Walsall in 2017.
The company’s mission is to provide the best saddles, backed by the most knowledgeable and professional people. The diverse range and selection of dressage saddles available ensures that the many horse and rider combinations are able to find success.

Design
Custom Saddlery is the front runner in new designs and is always striving to be leading the industry. Due to the popularity of the company’s close contact saddles and outside knee rolls, they have become the dressage standard to which all others are judged.
Custom Saddlery has an extensive range of models which are all made to suit the many different horse and rider combinations. With over thirty models and fifteen different and unique saddle trees, there are limitless possibilities to help the rider achieve perfect harmony with their horse.
The original Monoflap series, which Custom Saddlery reinvented, are some of the most unique and inspirational saddles made today. Along with many forms of close contact and single flap designs, the depth of variety and purposefully designed saddles make Custom one of the premier manufacturers in the sport.
As each model has a very specific tree shape to its design, this allows the saddles to be matched properly to the horse corresponding wither and topline. Models that can accommodate a flat back to a high wither help Custom Saddlery stand out from others. This is the cornerstone of the company’s origination in that each horse needs a saddle that matches his shape. After a model that is suitable for your horse is selected, the process of fitting the saddle is undertaken. As the saddle trees are completely adjustable for the width of your horse structure, the wool flocked panels and available hybrid and synthetic materials help your saddle fitter fine tune the balance and fit for the optimal ride and feel.
